SOUTHERN BLACK GIRLS AND WOMEN’S CONSORTIUM 2025 DREAM CONFERENCE GIVEAWAY

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

ELIGIBILITY: The Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium (“Sponsor”) 2025 Dream Conference Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

SPONSOR: Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium, Selma, AL.

ENTRY PERIOD: The Giveaway begins on May 15, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on May 22, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Entry Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, participants must complete the official entry form available at [WEBSITE URL]. No other method of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive: (i) one conference registration to the 2025 Black Girls Dream Conference; (ii) two (2) nights’ accommodations at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (standard room); and (iii) roundtrip economy class airfare from a major airport nearest winner’s residence within the continental United States to Atlanta, GA. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein, including but not limited to meals, ground transportation, incidentals, gratuities, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, and all other expenses not specified herein, are not included and are solely the winner’s responsibility. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prize permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of comparable or greater value.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. Winner will be notified via the contact information provided, and must respond within 48 hours of notification or forfeit the prize. Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release within two (2) days of notification.

ODDS: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters. By accepting prize, winner consents to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (2) technical failures of any kind; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway; or (4) any other factors which may cause the Giveaway to be disrupted or corrupted.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliated organizations, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries and all their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the state of Alabama without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Giveaway or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts located in Alabama, and participants consent to jurisdiction therein.

PRIVACY POLICY: Information collected from participants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
