Official Raffle Rules & Disclaimer

This raffle is being conducted by The Fund for Southern Communities, a registered nonprofit organization in the State of Georgia. By purchasing or accepting a raffle ticket, participants agree to be bound by the following official rules and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Entrants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• The raffle is open to residents where it is not prohibited by law.
• Officers, directors, employees, and immediate family members of The Fund for Southern Communities may be excluded from participation at the discretion of the organization.

2. Prize Description

• One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a cruise vacation package for two (2), which includes:
• Round-trip travel tickets from the winner’s nearest major airport to the port of departure.
• One (1) night hotel stay at or near the port of departure prior to the cruise.
• Cruise accommodations for two (2) as specified by The Fund for Southern Communities and its travel partners.

3. Prize Conditions

• The winner must select and confirm their cruise date no later than November 20, 2025. If a cruise date is not selected by this deadline, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be chosen at the sole discretion of The Fund for Southern Communities.
• Blackout dates, restrictions, and availability apply. Travel and cruise dates are subject to the policies of the travel providers.
• The prize has no cash value and may not be transferred, substituted, or redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
• Any upgrades, incidentals, gratuities, onboard expenses, or additional travel costs beyond those stated above are the sole responsibility of the winner.

4. Taxes & Reporting

• All federal, state, and local taxes, including but not limited to income tax, sales tax, and any other costs related to the acceptance and use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• The Fund for Southern Communities will comply with IRS and State of Georgia reporting requirements, which may include issuing an IRS Form W-2G.

5. Drawing & Notification

• The winner will be selected by random drawing on November 13, 2025
• The drawing will be conducted fairly and impartially under the supervision of The Fund for Southern Communities.
• The winner will be notified by phone and/or email within 2 days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 2 days of notification, or fails to meet eligibility requirements, another winner may be selected.

6. Release & Waiver of Liability

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Fund for Southern Communities, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, affiliates, sponsors, and travel partners from any and all liability, loss, injury, or damages arising out of participation in the raffle or acceptance/use of the prize.

7. Compliance & Governance

• This raffle is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws of the State of Georgia governing nonprofit raffles.
• The Fund for Southern Communities reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this raffle at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise.

8. General Terms

• Ticket purchase does not guarantee winning.
• No purchase necessary where prohibited by law.
• Entry into the raffle constitutes acceptance of these official rules and all decisions of The Fund for Southern Communities, which are final and binding.
